Bright pixels problem

Hi,

There is a clump of bright pixels on the left hand side of my 15" matte screen. They're very apparent on light colors but almost hidden on darker ones.

The screen did not come this way. Why did the pixels come to be this way? How can I fix them?

I'm guessing that its stuck pixels that just happened?? If its a real problem I would take it in.
