Brightness Adjuster

Hi

I am using a Samsung monitor so therefore cannot control th screen brightness with
the F1 F2 keys.

I tried Shades but it messes with the colour making it look a little washed out and not
good.

Are there any others I could try ?

Umm, have you tried adjusting the brightness on the actual monitor itself? As far as I know, you can't control the brightness of the monitor from the computer but from the buttons on the monitor itself. Unless it has a USB hookup as well as the VGA/DVI/HDMI hookup.

yes, I know I could do it from the monitor itself, just wondered if there was another app like Shades but one that worked better.....
