Brightness App

Hi

Seeing as I have lost my brightness slider in Prefs/Displays and my F1 F2 Keys do not function as the brightness control
can anybody suggest a brightness App I can use ?

Well other than Shades or Brightness because both of those mess with your colour profile/profiles.

There should be keys on the keyboard for it. Go to System Preferences>Display and change the brightness from there is needed.

I did say that I have no Brightness Slider, the one in Prefs/Display therefore my F1 and F2 keys do not function as the brightness control as they should.

It sounds like you have a bigger problem if you have no brightness slider and the brightness keys do not work. Try an Archive and Install. If that does not work, take a trip to the Genius Bar and see what they have to say.

F1 and F2 work as normal function keys they just do not work at controlling the brightness.

I have a feeling this is a USB problem with my Mac Pro...

Try an archive and install as suggested earlier, if that won't work call Apple if you still have warranty.
