A AccenT macrumors member Original poster Apr 16, 2011 51 144 Paris Oct 20, 2016 #1 I'm using a 2012 rMBP and since updating to Sierra, even with the auto-brightness turned off, my brightness goes up or down without me doing anything to it. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix? Thanks!

I have seen posts from other users that sometimes boxes get mysteriously ticked after an upgrade. Try a SMC reset. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
