iPhone 15/Plus Bring old Verizon line to new iPhone after trade in.

I ordered my wife an iPhone 15 to replace her 13 as a trade in through the Apple Store App but Apple was not able to connect with Verizon to confirm the iPhone 13 on my Verizon account. It said I can do the trade in and then set up the iPhone with Verizon after I pick it up. But I set up the trade in to leave the iPhone at the Apple Store when I pick up her new one. So will I still be able to easily set up the new iPhone with her original Verizon number if do the trade-in at the Apple Store - then I will be leaving the store without her original iPhone. Not sure if doing an iCloud backup will include the necessary Verizon information. Thanks.
