Certainly the topic has been covered already, but I couldn't find it in the forum. My apologies if it's a duplicate.
I live in Germany. A friend is visiting me from the US in a couple weeks.
If I was to buy an unlocked/jailbroken iPhone from eBay US and have it send it to him, would I then be able to use it in Europe?
If the phone was locked to AT&T but with no contract present, would I be able to unlock it/jailbreak it?
The difference from the 700 euro UK phone to the 460 euro offers I see in eBay USA is quite tempting 🙂.
