if you like it, you like it. no shame in it. i simply refuse to stand by and not point out that she, in my opinion, isn't that talented. i've heard her sing acapella(sp?) before and it wasn't pretty. her voice to me is some sorta cartoon voice... that i'm sure is doctored to no end in the studio.
Dude ... why isnt she talented?
She plays the Piano, She directs her own music videos, she comes up with her own music video concepts, she can sing, she can act, and she can dance.. Not to mention if she wasn't talented she wouldn't be the best selling female artist of the decade (Over 100 Million Albums sold WorldWide), and All 7 of her albums have been #1, Only female artist to have all her albums debut at #1... Who's not talented again?

All those things can be achieved by other factors; such as how likeable they are, their management, their songwriters and the fact that an artist makes popular music.

I can think of people - who are in my opinion - a lot more talented than Britney Spears and they have none of the things you've mentioned.
