Pay the 200 USD and get it replaced by Apple. Doing it yourself you are going to likely spend half of that for parts and then have to take the time to swap the screen and with your attitude (short fuse), it will likely end up trashed. A screen swap requires the phone to be taken apart almost all the way so it is no easy feat. If you swap it, you will also retain your warranty which you will lose if you do it yourself.

As for iFixit, I have used their screens and they look and feel no different than Apple's original. Highly recommend....

To the OP

Call your local Apple Repair shop and get a price quote for fixing it. It might be a lot less then you think, and that way your warranty stays valid. If you open it yourself you completely void any real chance of insurance or warranties helping you with that device in the future.

To ppl complaining about anger management... you trying to get him angry so he does it again? LOL!

If your that unstable then don't try it yourself your likely to stab yourself with a screwdriver when you rip the ribbon cable or crack the board. Pony up the money or better yet throw a tantrum and tell Mommy it's her fault because she made you mad and tell her you want a new phone and I think if you yell loud enough she will give in.

Apple's 199 fee is probably your best option. This will keep your original warranty. If you DIY or a 3rd party it will completely void it.
Also if you go to Apple and explain nicely that you had a bit too much 'xmas cheer' at your mom's they MIGHT, and that's a BIG MIGHT, give you a one time freebie.
Regardless keeping the warranty would be the big issue for me.

Well teeth/display are very different. Having a "yellowish" display is considered warm. Just like the regular 4 display is considered more blue and cool.

Well, it has to do with the temperature of the color... here..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature

Color temperature is a characteristic of visible light that has important applications in lighting, photography, videography, publishing, manufacturing, astrophysics, and other fields. The color temperature of a light source is the temperature of an ideal black-body radiator that radiates light of comparable hue to that of the light source. Color temperature is conventionally stated in the unit of absolute temperature, the kelvin, having the unit symbol K.
Color temperatures over 5,000K are called cool colors (blueish white), while lower color temperatures (2,700–3,000 K) are called warm colors (yellowish white through red).

Bareback?

Your mommy made you mad so you had a tantrum and threw your $600 phone? WoW, major issues.

Suck it up and pay the $199 for the OOW replacement. You sound like the type of child that shouldn't be opening up and trying to repair said $600 device because you will end up getting frustrated and break some of the very delicate ribbon wires.

Pretty expensive lesson you learned, something tells me it won't be your last. Good luck.

Maybe he threw it for durability test. It's not his fault for being cautious. It's apple's fault for making a phone that is made out of cheap ass glass.

Seriously, whos retarded idea was it to make the entire front of the phone made out of glass?

I have insurance but it just seems like a big hassle.. they want me to fill out an affidavit, have my brother sign it, attach a copy of his ID and get it notarized before they will fix it or send me a new phone.. they want my brother to do it cause im under his companies AT&T plan.. and they are gonna charge me 200 after that lol

Jesus they want almost 200 for the screen assembly?? what do u guys think of this?

Go to an Apple store. Go to the genius bar. Show them the phone. Pay $200, and they'll swap it out for a new one.

You're going to be out $200 no matter what you do - easiest way would be to go to the Apple store. The new phone would have the remainder of the warranty
