For me it is now working again with iOS 16.2. After the alarm the widget stays blank, but after some time (maybe some hours), it shows the alarm for the next morning from the sleep settings again.

Maybe it only displays alarms within the next twelve hours? It’s showing back on for me

My alarm clock rang at 7:35 today.
After i got up the widget was empty. Now 5 hours later the widget shows the next alarm from the sleep settings again.

Yeah it’s like it’s designed that way. “It’s a feature not a bug.”

They want to convey that the alarm is not snoozing or anything and so only show the alarm time hours later 🤷‍♂️

I made the beta suggestion that the way it should function is to always display the next alarm that is set for sometime in the next 23 hours 59 minutes. Makes sense to me.

So what now, it works or not?

How far in advance does it show the alarm? I tried setting it in the evening and it didn't show the morning alarm.

It definitely still doesn’t work for me. I’ve got an alarm set for 5 am. It’s 6 pm right now, and the widget claims that all my alarms are off.

I give up… at this point, I’ll probably just get rid of that widget for good since no one at Apple seems to pay any attention to it.

Revisiting this after 6 months. It seems incredible this still does not work. I also reported this to Apple.
So, I believe it's been working for me for a while now. As in my post above, that's pretty much how it seems to work. After my 830am alarm goes off, it shows alarm off, and then a bit later in the day it'll show 830am again. Other alarms I set seem to show in the way I expect, too.

Yea mine is the same. Exactly 20 hours before alarm is set to go off it shows in the widget.

Yes, sleep alarms still don't register...

I wonder what's the rationale for that. They do show in the alarm part of the clock.
The weirdest part is that the sleep alarm always shows on the lock screen when the device is in Sleep Focus, although it's not via the lock screen widget but a different alarm indicator under the time. It's so strange that the alarm lock screen widget has been broken for so long with the sleep alarm.

Wow, thanks. I've changed do not disturb to sleep focus and it kinda works.

It appears to be working now without some trickery with sleep focus.

After the 16.5 upgrade the widget shows the sleep alarm as it should.

Did you update to 16.5 just now? I installed RC2 when it released and the alarm widget updated correctly after the update and the next day. I thought it was actually fixed but on the 3rd day and beyond, it stopped updating and just displays off unless I edit my sleep schedule so it's still broken for me.

Working so far. I enabled alarm this morning for tomorrow morning. It didn't show at first but 20 hours before schedule it started showing on lock screen.

Fingers crossed.

Everything appears to be working, enabling, disabling sleep alarms, enabling regular alarms... the first one to activate will show on lock screen.

Only it seems that this has been broken for so long, that nobody even uses it anymore.

Still broken for me on 16.5. I have to go into the edit mode of the sleep alarm for it to update the lock screen widget, otherwise it shows off. At least I don't need to actually edit it, just enter edit mode and select done and the widget updates to the correct alarm time.

For me it's still working, also changing when sleep alarms actually start ringing or having them on at the same time.
