the button on the top of my iPhone is broken. I bought it from att a little less than a year ago so it should still be under the 1 year warranty right? should I go to att or apple to get this fixed.

The policy I go by is if I have a problem with my phone I go to the manufacturer of the phone, if I have a problem with the service I go to the service provider.

AT&T will most likely tell you to take it to Apple.

iPhone warranty policy is that all warranty claims are serviced by Apple.

You have a choice of mail-in service or an Apple store visit if it close by. You can start the process via the Apple site:
