For some reason my MBP's card reader broke. Does Applecare cover the replacing of the logicboard as the way to fix it?

S Superguard703 macrumors newbie Original poster Jan 21, 2010 11 0 May 19, 2011 #3 Wow that is really disheartening. $300-400 for a new card reader would not be worth it at all, unless the new board had the updated specs of the 2011 model. I doubt that would be the case though.
