broken disc drive

I dropped my macbook but everything seems fine. The only problem is that i tried to burn a cd and although it will accept and eject the disc, it doesnt recognize it and just ejects it after a couple minutes...any suggestions?

It could either be a broken drive or it could just be being picky about discs. Try several different brands of CDs and DVDs to see if you can get any of them to spin up properly.
