Hi
A friend has broken his firewire socket so he can't charge his iPad so
he's ordered a replacement.
Obviously he'll want to transfer his data from the old to the new.
I'm guessing that since he uses iCloud he'll just need to sign into the replacement using his usual credentials?
What he's still signed into the old one but can't sign out because of no power?

iPads do not have FireWire ports. They have Lightening Ports (Thunderbolt 4/USB-C on Pro models).

As long as they backup the files to iCloud, they can just sign in on the new tablet and sync the files. No need to sign out on old tablet.

Sorry. I of course meant Lightning socket. Thanks.
