Broken Iphone 4 glass

I need some advice my back panel of my iphone has smashed. Is it best to get a proper repair, or buy a new panel on ebay? (How do you know if it's a genuine part?) Or should I sell it as faulty as I would be selling it anyway to upgrade to the 4S.

fix it, just buy 1 from Fleabay, you will not find a different. It cost around $9.00 including shipping and it takes 2 minutes to replace.

I think all the eBay back plates are third party. Only real way to make sure it's authentic is to get it replaced at the store.
