Broken LCD pins on logic board

While replacing the hard drive in my 27" iMac I damaged the pins that connect the LCD to the logic board. Is it possible the repair or replace the pins without having to replace the logic board?

Another casualty. An external monitor is the unfortunate answer. You probably followed an EZ, do it yourself web guide that left out a minor detail like the extreme fragility of this connector.

Two more questions that I would like to make clear. Are those round lead circles, right beneath rectangular connectors, can be used to restore the lost contacts? I tried to ring the ones that are still in tact with a tester, and in fact, they are connected.


And the other one is why the tester rings when I put one tip on, let's say 2nd rectangular contact, and the other one on 7th. Should not they be different traces?
