Broken mp3s On Itunes

Does anyone know why some of my mp3's stop in the middle of a song on itunes and skip to the next track. It does this consistently at the same spot for some of my mp3s.

Is there any way to fix these mp3s? Is it an issue with itunes?

There is a corruption in the file. Use iTunes and use the "Convert to MP3" system to try to fix it. If that doen't work, youll have to find/import the song again.
