Broken Screen...

Hi,

My Macbook screen is broken (something was accidentally thrown at it).

I called APPLE and was told that repair would cost me $750-800...

I understand that the screen is the most expensive part of the Macbook, but I really don't want to spend that much money...

What other options do I have?

Try http://www.powerbookmedic.com. I'm pretty sure they have screens listed on their website.

If you would be paying that much for the repair unless you have the most recent version buy a refurb one for about the same price.
