Brother AIO Printer and Mac mini M1

Got a new M1 MM and text will not print. Color graphics print fine but no black text. When I send doc to my iPhone and print from it, it works just fine. Solution?

You should tell us what model the printer is.

Set it up as an AirPrint printer. It should work without special drivers.

I use brother airprint Laser/aio’s at work/home/fathers house. Never an issue when using as airprint printers. I AVOID installing the factory driver/app packages whenever possible.
