I have had a Brother MFC L2750DW for years (decades?) and have used it flawlessly up until about two years ago. I have been using various M1 Macs (Minis, and laptops) since Apple switched to silicon chips with no issues. I believe the issue is caused by the OS updates. I have reinstalled, the printer a few times on each machine, but no cannot "see" it other than on my hardwired main computer. I have had mixed success with "sharing the printer". I cannot seeing it via AirPrint on the laptops, iPhone, iPads. Not all devices are using the same OS.

Any suggestions on how to resolve? Is the 2750 no longer supported?

On current Macs, unless hard wired, Brother only supports Air Print for full functionality. Apple broke Air Print last week, then fixed it a couple days later. Reinstall the latest version of your macOS from the recovery partition to get Air Print back.

If your printer does not support Air Print, that’s not good. Brother has a web printing app that is pretty awful. It’s slow as hell and you can only print pdf or image files with that piece of crap. I had to use it while Apple fixed Air Print.

BTW, Air Print going down also affected my Epson photo printer—they didn’t have a workaround for me so I had to wait the two days.

I just installed (yesterday) 26.4. Is that the fixed OS, and if so do I need to delete the current printer and reinstall? Or go back to the previously installed OS?

I also have a Epson 7100 that I only use to print photo on I need to check if it can AirPrint as well.

I don't print much.
I have a Brother 2710 B&W laser printer/scanner/fax.

I've had some trouble with the Mac (2024 m4 Mini) "finding" the printer via AirPrint over the last several months. And I was flabbergasted to discover that Brother doesn't even offer a Mac print driver for it any more (via ethernet) -- just AirPrint.

What eventually worked for me was deleting all printers from the Printers & Scanners settings pane. I also did a factory-reset on the printer, and set it up again.

I'm not even sure if that helped, but it seems to be working ok once again.

What I discovered is that with Airprint, communications between the Mac and printer seem to be able to go two ways:
Mac --> printer (directly via AirPrint if Mac has wifi on, even if you're normally connecting via ethernet)
Mac --> router --> printer (router must have wifi enabled, and printer able to connect to it).
That's just my perception, I could be wrong.

Is your printer set up to connect to your router (printer must have router's ID and password)...?
