I bought it downloaded and installed it, and when I try to open the app it shows an opening screen with the title and then just stops, showing only your background picture ..... My iPhone is JB, so that may (I hope not) have something to do with it.

Anyone get it to work? If so, is your device JB?

video is up on toucharcarde now.......and the graphics look amazing but i'm still not convinced that fps will work well on an iphone without some amazing creativity so i am awaiting toucharcade's more indepth review

It has a virtual d-pad that you use to move and just touch on the screen to change the direction you are facing.

That is, if the app worked..... Has anyone got this game to work?

This game is so good. I highly recommend it to all Brothers in Arms fans, The controls take a little while to get used to and the gameplay is intense( as well as fun).

That track would make a good theme tune for it - very atmospheric and stuff. I've not seen the video yet, but I'd bet that the music is of a typically cheesy Gameloft variety.

Just incase any other JB users have problems, your options are:

1. Uninstall winterboard

2. Have SBSettings installed and put the phone in safe mode before you play

(Safe Mode is an option under the power section in SBSettings)

I suggest the latter option......

Well how does it help the app run? For example I just put my phone in safe mode and Guitar Rock Tour ran perfectly fine but when the phone isn't in safe mode it always crashes. BIA also ran fine in safe mode but in normal mode all I get is a black screen when i start the app.

I'm not sure of all of the technical aspects of it, but it disables winterboard. Which is apparently what causes the problem with BIA, as I uninstalled winterboard and it worked in normal mode. With winterboard installed it only runs in safe mode (in my experience, at least).

Perhaps someone a bit more knowledgeable can shed some light on all of the technical aspects of safe mode on the iphone....

This of course doesn't help people having troubles but just wanted to mention that some JB users aren't having any trouble with the game. And I haven't had any trouble with Guitar Rock Tour with JB. Just throwing it out there for people doing any trouble shooting.

I just got a review copy and I've been playing around with it. It's pretty interesting. The controls are a bit weird though. Could take some time to get used to.
