iPod touch brown dot above screen?

I noticed a small brown circle above the screen of my iPod touch, in the black part.

It wasn't there yesterday, and all of a sudden it was there today.

Has this happened to anyone before? Will it go away? Any idea what could have caused it?

It's the ambient light sensor, and it was there yesterday.

The light sensors, on both the iPod touch and the iPhones are difficult to see, except in very bright light or direct sun light.

Haha, this makes me laugh.

Maybe if you scrub it hard enough it'll go away 😉
