Hello.

I'll soon be getting a mid 2010 Macbook Pro, that I don't believe will run an OS newer than Cap. If so, will Chrome and/or Safari open web pages correctly on Cap?

Thanks.

Chrome is also still fully supported on ElCapitan, so you should be good with just about any browser you'd like to go with.

Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Opera are all still fully supported on El Capitan. I run Brave on my Mac Pro 1,1 when using it and everything works perfectly. Safari is capped at version 11 but that also still works fine.

I installed an SSD and first attempted to install Sierra, but that was a no go. I installed Cap, enabled TRIM, and it runs like a dream.

Thanks for all the replies :)

I'm running Brave on my 2008 Mac Pro 3,1 fine. Safari wont sync bookmarks in El Capitan to icloud.
