Recently it seems like the lag on Firefox has gotten significantly worse, even after quitting and restarting. I hate Safari, but it seems to run a little faster. Firefox also takes up more CPU, but I was looking at the activity monitor when opening Facebook and saw the web address for Facebook appear (which I've never noticed before). With the same number of windows open, Firefox takes significantly more memory. Has anyone else noted a recent change in Firefox? Is there a way to reduce the memory storage for it?

I had this happen with Google as well, which I had on previous machine seems some versions handled memory better than others. Ironically I installed it because Safari was a dog with Memory at the time.

Lesson learned, in the course of a year, all the browser play catch up and end up about the same at any given time. I've stuck to Safari this time, because I'm embedded in the ecosystem. I let keychain in the cloud do my sign-ins on all my devices which works best with Safari.

As well as I can access sites and bookmarks across my devices. I know same can be done with Chrome, but chrome on the iPhone is horrible, in my opinion.
