I know this is a MBP forum, but I am waiting on my shipment today and am getting prepared :) First Mac ever.

Do you all use Safari or Chrome? I've always used Chrome on my PC's, but not sure about Safari, if it works better with the Mac OS...

Thanks!

Safari is WebKit and Nitro based and Chrome is Blink based. I have found little to no difference in day to day usage. It just comes down to preference.

I however, in my personal opinion, think Safari is better suited and highly developed on Mac than Chrome. Why? Becasue Apple designed Safari based on the specific Mac to Max specs and to work deeply integrated into OS X. Chrome is just developed as a platform to run, not mingle within OS X.

But like I said, that's my personal opinion.

Note: I have used both Chrome and Safari on my Mac.

I use Chrome at work on my Windows and Linux machines. However I use Safari at home on my Mac. If you have an iOS device where you are already using Safari it's nice to have everything in sync.

I also use Safari since I just like the overall look better on Mac and it feels smoother. Mind you this not supported by any facts, just my own preference.

Enjoy your first ever Mac, hope you get that wow effect I experienced when using mine for the first time.

Brave is my browser of choice for all my devices/computers. I like it because it focuses on privacy and security. I also like that it's Chromium based so you get the compatibility of Chrome and can use its extensions.

I don't use Safari because I also use Windows a lot. I don't use Chrome because I like to limit the amount of Google I have in my life. Firefox was my browser of choice before Brave; I still like it but I prefer Brave now.
