When I use Safari on my mac I have certain bookmarks set up to auto-click, ie to open two or more tabs with one click. For instance, I can open all my Sports bookmarks just by clicking Sports in the bookmarks bar.

Is there an iOS browser that will do the same thing? I know there are some which use tabs, but are there any which will open more than one at a time?

You could open multiple sites with a bookmarklet (javascript). Some of the browsers support them. If you don't change your 'group' often it's a worth while effort making the script.
