Anyone know if there are any browsers that do the following:
- Double tap (or something similar) to open links in new tabs?
- Use the "rotate" gesture (Keep one finger planted, move a second in a semi-circle either clockwise or anticlockwise, depending on which direction you wanted to move) to switch between tabs

No, but iCab Mobile or Atomic let you configure gestures so you can have a 2-finger swipe left or right to change tabs etc....

And I have iCab set to ask whenever I click on a link if I want it on the same tab or a new tab.

The problem I had with the 2 finger swipe is that it was being recognized as 2 separate actions. At first the page moves with the fingers and after a bit the gesture is recognized as a tab switch. I like the OP's suggestion with one finger planted and the other making an arc in the direction you want to switch tabs to.
