iPad Pro BT keyboard not showing on battery widget

My other Bluetooth keyboard always showed its battery percentage in the widget, but not this one?

Anyone know why?

Likely it is not reporting the info to the iPad.

If the device is not providing the info to iPadOS - as seems to be the case here - then an app can't get it unless it's a dedicated app from the device vendor. I have a couple of BT keyboards that are like this.
