BT Keyboard (phat) caps lock light comes on, nothing else?

Have just tried to connect my BT keyboard - the green caps lock comes on, but BT prefs say its not connected.

Is there a way to delete BT prefs and try to re-connect?

I have tried using new batteries and re-starting computer...
 
today i deleted the random name of my keyboard on bt prefs, and re-assigned it - picked it up ok- seems allright now
