i've got a macally bt mouse which works fine except when i leave my pb for a while and it loses the connection with the mouse. i then have to go through bt>set up bt device and re-discover and set it up all over again.

am i missing a shortcut here which means i don't have to re-discover it everytime? or does anyone know a simple command line i could put into terminal and then save and run as an app from my dock (i don't have a clue about unix scripts/terminal etc. but have read somewhere that's an option for other things)?

it doesnt seem like much but having to rediscover the mouse after i leave my pb for 20mins or so a couple of times a day does get annoying and any solution would be much appreciated.

thanks

It sounds like the mouse might have gone to sleep. Hit a button and wait a few seconds and see what happens - the connection should re-establish itself.

I have a MacMice bluetooth mouse and that's all I have to do.
