BT Openzone coming soon to O2 iPhone Users

Went into the local O2 store at lunchtime. They had just had their iphone launch meeting. I spoke to a chap in there who told me that BT Openzone will be included in the contract from July 11th with O2. He also said that our local store would not be opening at 7am as has been advertised but 9am.....

They got themselves off the hook since they fixed the old turn on flight mode and reconnect "feature"

in fact thinking about it - Its O2'S fault!!!

Just logged a complaint with them on the basis that they are advertising something which is incorrect ie. 9500 wifi spots.

Lets see what they come up with

this is good news, as I currently have to use my free BT Openzone mins when I want wifi out and about. I can now save these for my laptop for eg
