iPod touch bt openzone

I live in uk and use a iPod touch daily. I was wonderin, After July 11, will I be able to get free conections to bt openzone or the cloud as mentioned on various web pages. If so does anyone know what I need to do apart from upgrade to 2.0?

the iPod touch will not get free wifi after July 11.... free wifi and data (in the UK) only apply to the iPhone and iPhone 3G (contract and PAYG)

Wish we did. You can sign up to the cloud though, at £3.99 a month. I have it, it's pretty brilliant. I'm also using BT Broadband therefore have access to the openspots.
