Evert time I close the cover it goes from Bright to a lower brightness.

This is really aggravating.Someone please tell me how to fix it.Thanks
 
Have you tried disabling "Automatically adjust brightness" in the "Displays" menu under "System Preferences"?

When i open the cover it changes to the photo on the right.Dimmer
