Update: I'm here at work now and it's working great! I did, however, have to turn off back to my mac on my macbook here at work, then turn it back on to reinitialize it. Since doing that it's been working flawlessly so far.
Mine works as advertised as well. The screen sharing is excruciatingly slow but I won't often use that, I guess. That's probably a network sort of thing anyway - but wow, it's sllllllllllllowwwwww.
