BTO 16" MBP Preparing to Ship

Ordered around 9:30am by phone EST Wednesday and now preparing to ship 10:30pm Friday evening.

2.4, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD 5500m 8GB AMD. Only concerned about the 16GB RAM. Would be fine for FCPX with 4K footage, worried if I have to use Premiere Pro or Photoshop as those are not memory efficient. But an extra $400 for another 16GB RAM that I may not really need seemed like a waste.

Mine too preparing to ship: 2.4/64/2TB/8GB VRAM to Sydney. Expected on the 21st. Can’t wait 😃!

Check Fedex is you have My Deliveries, likely already shipped. Mine is coming from Shanghai.

Apple shows preparing to ship and the amount has been reserved on my Visa card. I can actually see the packet in the UPS app with a tracking number and "information not yet available".

I ordered, for delivery to Sweden:
- 2.4 GHz, 8 core
- Radeon 5500M, 8 GB
- 32 GB RAM
- 2 TB SSD
- Space grey

This seems to be a kind of "standard" high-end config, all the reviewers got this and it seems to be available in some stores. Hopefully that helps with delivery time which still shows as 27 - 29 November.
