Are others in "Preparing for Shipment" limbo ?

Usually orders I place with Apple shift from that status very quickly.

I guess they're being VERY careful how they put my nMP into it's box...

It takes time to get that right smell and that packaging just right!

Confession: when I took the cover off to install the memory upgrade I sniffed it. It really has that new computer smell!

You didn't need to share that - a mental image of dogs greeting each other in a park is stuck in my mind.

If people sniffing things reminds you of dogs, stay out of perfume shops.

Hm I just found out that for my February delivery order I can't change the configuration anymore, just cancel it. It's still processing though.
But a few days ago I could still change the config.
So I guess the damn thing is now being assembled :):)

Yes yes there was definitely a "change order" button next to the cancel button!

    Progress :)

It never seemed to let me change the config, just the delivery address. :)

You could call Apple and ask why it's been 5 days in preparing to ship.
