BTStack keyboard for iPad w/ 4.2.2

So I just got an Apple keyboard for my iPad 1, and it's perfect except for one disappointment - the dearth of special keys and key combinations. Now, I see that BTStack Keyboard offers a bunch of special key combos. But it also says that it only has "basic" support for iOS 4 and the iPad - and it doesn't say anything at all about iOS 4.2.2.

So - can anyone here speak to how BTStack Keyboard works on an iPad with 4.2.2? I don't want to drop $5 on it, only to find out that it doesn't offer any real advantages over the built-in bluetooth support, or worse, that it makes everything crashy, or doesn't even run at all.

Well, yeah. It would have to be, to use BTStack Keyboard.
