Hey,

Could you recommend a 27" monitor suitable for around 12 hours of daily work? I'll primarily be using it for Excel and Word, with occasional use of graphic software, although top-notch color accuracy isn't necessary. I'm leaning towards a more budget-friendly option.
Also, it will be connected to a MacBook Pro M3 and occasionally to a Steam Deck for gaming.

Thanks

27", 4k resolution (also called "UHD").

Many of these available at all price points.

Use it at either the default resolution for Mac ("looks like 1080p")
or
"looks like 1440p" (scaled, so text may not be quite as sharp and well-defined)

Pretty much any 27" monitor with a 4K resolution that fits your budget will work for your needs. In fact, I had a similar need to yours a few years ago where I was looking for a monitor that was sharp and could spend hours in front of at a time while also working on graphics and video.

Can't you just recommend something more specifically. I would aim at LG due to their former collaboration with Apple so probably MBP will have the best compatibility to them

Do your own "homework".
Set yourself a "price limit".
Then look at LG, Samsung, Dell, Viewsonic.

READ THE USER REVIEWS, particularly from those using a Mac.

I'm not partial to LG.
Reason why:
I bought an LG tv some years' back. After about 18 months of usage, it "went dark".
Out of warranty.
Took it to a local tv repair place, they couldn't get parts.

Bought a Samsung and it's been fine for 10 years.
