The "Nothing" marketing is horrific. It's like naming a company "Residential Air conditioning" (yes I had a neighbor who picked that... out of business in a year)
It’s more like naming your company “Certainly Not Air Conditioning”

I've used Mac and iPhone for years, yes before the iphone was a thing. But when the Pixel 7a arrived and fed up with the ever increasing pricing of this is the best iPhone ever!! I actually bought one....a Pixel 7a.

Pixel and Nothing phones running Android 15 are a great option. Android is not ios, but so what? Stop ending comparisons with the comments, "well the big difference is ios vs. android". It's 2025 and the user experiece of both Android and Apple phone is very similar, and it's no big deal switcking out of Apple to Google and vice versa.

What do you want a phone for? Calls, email, internet, YouTube, TicToc? Well hello they both do that! An the Pixel A series have great cameras.

If you haven't used an Android 15 Pixel or Nothing phone, perhaps you might surprise yourself and save £500/$500 :)

Ps. this is by no means anti-Apple, just plain good financial sense and an alternative decent mobile.
I couldn’t disagree more with the bolded sentiment. In fact, I find all the endless comparisons of features (especially but not limited to the camera) to be pointless when one device is iOS and the other is android. Interoperability and seamless integration with my other devices and services is ten times more important to me than some details around a camera sensor or whatever.

The Nothing 3a Pro looks like it's from the future - it's soo beautiful. That company's leadership is clearly design-focused instead of supply chain / price-gouging focused.

Apple is about to lose an iPhone customer. In my country this phone starts at $900.
When all we need is text functionality, Apps and a camera good enough to send a snap to grandma every couple of weeks why would I spend $900?

Wow, just look at how ****** the bezels on the 16e are in comparison. That and the notch make it look like a phone from a decade ago.

Bought the Nothing Phone 2a some time ago for 270€ in Europe. Best money I‘ve ever spent on any phone (including all the iPhones I ever had) and it‘s not even close. In Europe the 3a costs now 320€ and the „budget“ iPhone 710€. And regarding Android vs iOS, so far I don‘t see anything that Android does worse than iOS, quite the opposite tbf.

I'm not sure the processor comparison is fair. On paper yes the A18 is 100% faster. But I think what matters is if the less performant Qualcomm chip is adequate for the device itself and whether you even notice the performance difference.
The performance difference is significant lol

Bad comparison i still have my nothing phone 1 and it runs great these are phones for people who likes to try and collect different phones and it shows that Apple could have put a 120hz screen on the 16e with all that processing power except they would have to add another 100 dollar. How about fixing siri first get the Pixel 9a

I’d never switch back to Android but I did buy a $39 pair of “CMF by Nothing” wireless earbuds and they’re way better than the (entry level) AirPods with a dead battery they replaced.

I’m glad a budget brand is making interesting design choices (with Teenage Engineering) as under $40 AirPods knockoffs aren’t something I’d usually give a try, but saved me some money, especially considering they have silicone tips.

Good video. There are many good alternatives to the entry level 16e. Overall 16e is a good iPhone. Price should have been $499 at max. Nevertheless it will sell well.

For what I’ve seen Picture’s quality of iPhone 16e is much better than the Nothing Camera… It’s not only a question of specs, but I agree iPhone 16e price is too high for what it is. Should be 450/500 max

I needed an Android phone for app development. As a long time Apple fan boy I'd only ever really used Samsung phones for app testing before, and found the bloatware and general experience unpleasant.

Nothing actually have a [more] budget sub-brand called CMF, and I bought their Phone 1 (£169 in the UK). I was blown away by how good it is, and has a few things I prefer to my iPhone 15 Pro daily driver.

Nothing OS does not have all the bloatware of a Samsung device, and the large screen is really nice to use. I never thought of my iPhone as heavy before, but now I notice it all the time. The Phone 1 camera isn't quite as good as the iPhone, but is absolutely acceptable. Remember this is £169 vs the £999 that I paid for my iPhone 15 Pro.

The let downs on the Phone 1 are the single speaker, and lack of NFC for payments. It is dual SIM though!

If I was in the market for an Android phone, I'd definitely be checking out the Nothing range.

I was a few minutes ago checking out Samsung newest Flips.

None of the above makes me interested.

I like what Nothing are doing with their phones. They have such a unique asthetic and the OS looks really nice. If they brought out a smaller phone, this might even tempt me away from Apple
