Hi!
I've formatted my Buffalo MiniStation Thunderbolt, and I've lost the hard drive icon...

I tried to contact Buffalo, but they don't wan't to help (they should follow LaCie example: you can dowload their drive icons on their website)...

If somebody here has the same drive, it would be awesome if you can send me or upload me the hard drive icon...
To find it, it is simple: the file is hidden on the root directory of the drive.

Thank for your help :)

I have that drive, but I use that picture (or a really similar one) as the icon. I just remove the background to make it transparent.
I would like to retrieve the "official" icon, the one the disk is sold with... You haven't kept it?

I've found a PNG with transparency on the Buffalo website. I rename it in .icns, and it worked! :)

To tell you the truth, I am pretty sure mine didn't even come with an icon originally!
On mine, I'm sure it came with an icon! I was surprised, I thought only LaCie did that.

Looks good. I just like the drop shadow with reflected light on the other one you found.
Me too! The reflected light was great, but if your desktop is not white, it is not very pretty...
