Want to see if anyone else has experienced this bug.

On iOS 14.5, iPhone 12 Pro, if i go into a no service area, my phone will not reacquire data service even once I'm out of the area. I've tried toggling airplane mode, toggling LTE/5G, even making a phone call. Nothing works except rebooting the phone. I am able to make phone calls but data does not work.

I've also experienced this on my 12 Pro Max that's been running the progression of public beta builds of 14.5. However, since I installed the GM of 14.5, I haven't had it happen, even though my "steps to reproduce" have been the same (putting it in airplane mode at the beginning of a flight, then turning off airplane mode once I've landed).

I did submit a bug using the Feedback app & encourage you to do the same, especially gathering logs when the phone is in the error state (before restarting), so Apple's got the best chance of "catching it in the act."

Have you still seen this behavior with the GM of 14.5?

Son and I both noticed this while coming out of SLC airport from our trip to LA. Had zero service until we rebooted. I have a 12PM, he has a 12P.

I upgraded to the 14.6 public beta. Going to the area with no service again this weekend. Will see if I still have issues.

This has been happening to me from day one. It would be random and a few days apart. Now it's happening several times a day. I'm getting tired and will visit the genius bar.
