Bug or feature in newest apple tv software?

Ever since the last OS update (5.1.1) or the hulu app addition both of my apple tv 3's go in to standby mode whenever I press and hold the select button on the remote while on the main home screen. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have never seen the arrange icons feature.

The icon-rearranging thing was a feature added in one of the iOS 6 betas.
