Bug with Safari 3.0 Beta and Google GMail Widget?

Is anybody else experiencing a problem with their Google GMail widget having recently updated Safari to the 3.0 Beta?

If so, has anybody figured out a way to work around it? I tried reloading the widget, restarting my Mac, and re-downloading and installing the widget.

yea, my gmail widget no longer works either since i installed the safari 3 beta. no fix yet that i know of yet.

Same here. Now that it doesn't work, I realize how convenient it was... 🙁 Hope they fix it soon.

I just downloaded the Safari 3.0 beta and my GMail widget is ok.

It happens to the other Gmail widget...I know because I have the same problem.

Also, does anyone know if widgets are automatically updated in anyway?

3.0.2: Problem solved!

Safari 3.0.2 Beta (released today) fixes the problem. Yay!
