i got my iPhone X today and of course, my ocd I checked the build date and was surprised they still sent out a week 49 December. It probably doesn’t matter nothing wrong with it that I could see I don’t have a case yet so I put it back in box till I got case from Apple.

If you got the phone from Apple, there should be no problem with it.
Checking build date online is not always accurate. The Coconut Battery app is a lot more accurate.

And what would have been a more acceptable date?
Are there specific weeks you are looking for?
Or just a more recent week?

I know it can be checked, but I have no idea how one would find out if their week was the cool week or not
I don’t know why I have been reading a lot on the forums about issues with x and thought maybe newer builds wouldn’t have much. Just wanted to have the newest build. I have never thought about it then when I got the phone, I thought why not check the build date I never did on my 7 plus just for some reason I did on this one.
What issues with the X have you been reading about?
I have a X and I'm not aware of issues
People complain about the notch, the price, the Face ID, etc. but none of that would relate to the build
