I sent my first iPod touch for a 1-1 exchange as it had light leakage problem. Got back a replacement with the same problem but I decided to keep it.

However, after a month, I realised that the backlight on one edge seemed dimmer than the rest and my Hold button was somewhat recessed and thus hard to press. So off it went for servicing.

Got back my replacement and realised that it had a spec of dust under the screen, of which I was told by Apple (in Singapore) that it wasn't covered under warranty.

Pissed, I went off to sell this iPod and then bought another new iPod touch.

Ten bright pixels. FML. So I went back to exchange it, and this replacement had three bright pixels. Replaced it once again and I now have an iPod with two bright pixels. I decided that it wasn't worth the effort anymore.

And then exactly one week later (which is today), I found that a spec of dust managed to make its way under the screen of this sixth iPod.

SIGH. I guess I'm keeping it though. I just hope that the 4th generation iPod touch will have a much better build quality...
