Hello everyone,

I'm working on a large project and woud like to build a shared knowledge base (KB) with articles, films, company profiles etc. I'm working on my own right now, but I plan to have a growing team soon.

I would love to see something like Notebook (http://www.circusponies.com/) being truely multi-user (i.e. different users can work on different parts of the KB at the same time)

Here's the list of requirements I've thought of:

Tagging.
Some sort of structure. (date, category, importance, etc.)
Handles many file formats (pdfs, movies, pics, office docs, and saves any other format).
Multi-user (Several users can work simultaneously on the KB).
Some parts can be easily web-published.
Mac OS X Leopard compatible

Those additional goodies would be a plus...

Handling of To-dos calendar integration etc.
Contacts handling.
iPhone/Smartphone access.
Cross-plateform

I'm still hesitating between three types of software:
1) Personal Information Managers (the closest to what I want, except no multi-user support)
2) Databases. I've looked at FileMaker Pro, but it seems it will be very long to build something useful and user-intuitive.
3) CMS, I've looked at Drupal, WordPress etc. But a client side application sounds so much more responsive and easy to use. It also seems to require a fixed tree hierarchy.

I've been looking at this for a while now, and still unsure. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
