Hey,

So I am looking to build an internal RAID 0 with my MacPro, but have no experience with this. What are people's experiences with making a 2-drive SATA II RAID 0 volume using the disk utility in OS X? Is it reliable? I'm looking to work with uncompressed SD video from time to time, hence the inquiry ... thanks.

Wow we're in the same business

I have 2 x 300GB HD's using the diskutility RAID-0 in my Mac Pro.

So far it's been great! No problems whatsoever.

You can even boot off it (not that I'd recommend it if you're doing uncompressed video editing).
