Built in diagnostics, does it work for you on Rev A?

Turning on the Laptop Can you press and hold down the " D " button until the built in diagnostics works?

Mine never even starts up, so I wanted to know if it works for you on yout MBA rev A..

Also on a side note, when I press the power button I count 5 seconds and it finally starts to power up and I hear the Ding.. does yours do that?

works on mine, hold for about 30 seconds on startup and let go
i have a refurb rev A

Yep works on mine too and I'm having random kernel panics. Not sure about the ding though?
