Hello everyone,

After 4 months, my Macbook Pro 15" has already an hardware issue. My iSight doesn't work anymore. I tried steps indicated on Apple Support:

  • Reset SMC
  • Reinstalling Snow Leopard (ouch)
  • CMD + ALT + P + R

Nothing worked... I can change it but I have to stay at least six days without my laptop and as I am in software engineering, I need it 7/7... I miss the Dell 3 years J+1 warranty right now...

Anyway, if someone has an idea concerning my problem, would be cool to share.

I have a similar problem. I have had my macbook for 2 years and this morning, when I opened it, everything froze. I could not force quit or restart with out removing the battery. When I restarted, the light for the iSight was on but the camera won't work.

I upgraded to Snow Leopard last month, could this be the problem?
