I've just started doing some window shopping for a new TV, and noticed that many models now have a built-in YouTube client. Since my main reason for getting an ATV would be YouTube access, I'm wondering if there's any advantage of the built-in connectivity over the ATV, besides one less remote to deal with.
FWIW, I also have an iPad and an android phone.

I guess it really depends on your setup. I have a TV and a bluray player that do YouTube, but they feel clunky at best in that regard. ATV's version is pretty much streamlined in the ATV experience.

On the TV, the sound comes from my TV when all my other equipment goes through my receiver. I only discovered later that my TV had an optical output, which could have been used for that, but the less cables the better... and too late anyways... :D
