ok - so.. unless i'm really missing something here - there doesn't appear to be a way of deleting text/imessages from the watch unless it's done individually. (swipe, trash can then click the delete pop-up)

I would have thought that when you delete a message from the phone it would sync with the watch and remove it from there too. Is there a 'select all' or something. I don't need every text message on the watch. It drives me nuts!

It's essentially the same for all iOS devices although at least on the phones and iPads you can delete specific texts rather than just the whole conversation but there's no syncing of that to other devices. It's a different service/system than Mail.

Yes. Force touch clears notifications. I want to actually delete all the messages in my messages app on my watch. They don't delete when I delete them from my iPhone so I have hundreds of texts all on my watch that I don't need. Has to be done individually.

It is very annoying.

People keep saying this is no different than messages not being synced between iPhone, Mac, and iPad. I get that, but the Apple Watch is different. #1, its essentially another screen for, and tied to, your phone. So I do want it to be synced. And secondly, even if its not synced, at least give us a bulk delete option. The swipe and then delete pop-up takes way too long and is just plain dumb.

I know- right? So it's not just me. I have to remember to sit and delete all the text messages that I've received.

Why would Apple think we want to keep a separate version of each message on our phone and watch- also they should sync across devices. It's bloody stupid that I delete from my phone but my watch, iPad, iMac and laptop all have their own versions of texts that I have to then delete off each device independently.

Daft.
